Which Tilt is for You?
Custom Craftworks offers a variety of facerests to accommodate the variety of modalities therapists use in massage and physical therapy. All of them come with Custom Craftworks' specially contoured Crescent face pillow. To make your decision easier, the facerest options have been clarified below:

PRIMARY FACERESTS*

Stationary Facerest

Contoured to embrace the face and support the weight of the head. Provides for complete relaxation and is velcro adjustable to fit any face (adds an additional 10" to table length - shown here with optional arm rest shelf). A basic way to keep the neck from rotating.

Tilting Crescent Face Rest
With this unique design, you can adjust to multiple angles with the flick of a lever. The Tilting Crescent Face Rest provides optimal cervical curvature and is highly recommended for neck treatments where anterior flexion is required. High-quality components ensure smooth operation without slippage, even under pressure. Can be dropped out of the way when not in use. Like the Flex Tilt, establishes anterior cervical flexion, lengthening the neck. Does not elevate.

Flex Tilt Face Rest
The new Flex Tilt Face Rest is Custom Craftworks newest and most innovative face rest. A tilting facerest that elevates above the table to accommodate large-breasted or barrel chested clients, bringing the facerest closer to the client. Key advantages: face pillow is very close to the table so clients don't have to move much to reach the pillow.

Versatilt Face Rest

Similar in function to the Flex Tilt, the Versatilt tilts, elevates and descends, but trades proximity to the table for the most extensive range available. This makes the Versatilt an excellent choice for supine (face out) work on the Freedom Massage Chair, allowing greater reach to support the head. Not as light or compact as the Flex Tilt.

Pivot/Tilt Face Rest
The revolutionary Pivot/Tilt Face Rest not only tilts but it also pivots laterally 30 degrees to either side, allowing you to gain easy access to lateral neck muscles and trapezius muscles. Your neck treatments will take a quantum leap with the Pivot/Tilt Face Rest! In addition to tilting, the Pivot allows for lateral flexion of the neck up to 15 degrees, providing easy access to lateral neck and trapezius muscles. Great for passive stretching and popular with NMT's.

Gel Face Rest Set

The Gel Facerest is a perfect accessory with any facerest. It gives you a soft, malleable surface that easily conforms to the contours of the face. Set includes two interchangeable gel packs for hot/cold therapy and six specially fitted flannel facerest covers. The Gel Facerest also helps relieve some of the sinus pressure often experienced when lying prone for massage. You can also use the gel pack as a cervical therapy wrap!
